60's Gi-JOE Astronaut Suit

At one time this was top-secret classified information but as a result of public concerns and requests, documents have recently been released to the public concerning speculations that GI-JOE was performing government tests known as Project Redbook. These tests consisted of attempts to launch an action figure into outer space without the use of a protective space suit. This suit available for auction was the suit that was used for the initial tests - Project Redbook Phase One, which according to newly released information, these tests were successful. According to previous speculations, we had reason to believe that GI-Joe burned up upon reentry during the initial phases of Project Redbook Phase Two but according to new evidence, previously unreleased by authorities, it is confirmed that GI-Joe met his demise by the hands of a couple of ten year olds armed with firecrackers in an undisclosed backyard in Sacramento, California in his birthday suit in the seventies after a brief laizzes-faire with Wonder Woman.
